The Sony PSP may do more than just play games, movies and music. This hand kept machine may surf the internet as well. However, setting up PSP internet is often times the most asked question. I have prepared this simple step by step guide to support you set up your PSP for internet.
Before we begin, you ought to have a wireless network available and I highly suggest disabling the security encryption (WEP) on the wireless router for your basi introductory set up since the PSP seems to have difficulties reading the key. Upon powering up your PSP, make sure that the WLAN switch is turned on. Use your directional pad to go to the settings icon on the far left of your PSP screen and scroll down to the network settings icon.
From the network settings, spotlight the “infrastructure mode” and click to enter. The next page will ask you to select a connection to edit. If this is your basi time setting up a connection, just go in front and click [new connection]. You will then be directed to the WLAN settings page and there must be four options.
There are a couple of ways to do this, but the easiest way to set up your internet connection is to click on the initial option to grant your PSP to mechanically scan for the nearest and firmest access point, which ought to be your router. This ought to take a couple of seconds. Your PSP must display your SSID data as well as the security and signal strength. Click on your SSID.
Then use the directional pad to scroll to the right to go to the WLAN security settings. Since we have disabled your security settings for your online network, just spotlight none and proceed to the address settings page. In the address settings page, spotlight “easy” and go to the next page.
The next page allows you to fabricate a name for this connection. Feel free to name this connection anything you want. Once you enter the name of your connection, you will be competent to preview your settings list which ought to show the connection name of your SSID, your security settings and IP address. Scroll to the next page and save your settings. Once your settings are saved, click to test internet connection.
Now go online to test the connection, we ought to go back to the desktop and go to the network icon on the far right. Find internet browser icon and click to open browser. If you get a blank page, click on the triangle button to open the browser menu. Congratulations and hopefully you are ready to surf the internet. I hope this has been helpful in setting up your PSP internet connection.

I was getting ready to write this game off. By Louie Lefkowitz Yesterday, when I came home from work I played this game for 5 hours. The TDU2 servers were down, so many of the challenges were unavailable. Nonetheless, I thought to myself Atari isn’t ready for prime time. Next, my code for the Vantage V12 Carbon Black Edition didn’t work. Well, today everything is fixed and it’s a different situation. As soon as I came home from work, the code worked and online was available. The reason I was initially dissatisfied with this game is honestly the 3 used cars that you can start with have low resolution graphics and are blocky looking. That’s an undeniable fact. I drove my blocky car around, but I chose the mode where the car is invisible, so I just saw the speed/tachometer. As I started driving, the phone in my car rang, I was asked if I wanted to go to driving school. I accepted, and proceeded to take the Classic Mustang Challenge. I was so frustrated and couldn’t wait to post bashing Atari. The truth is that challenge doesn’t belong at the beginning of the game, and can frustrate someone beyond belief. The final challenge is to drive a classic Mustang (which fishtails, just like the real deal) around a track twice. I finally found out the trick, but I kept scoring 2:03 (maximum time is 2:00), but once I figured out the shortcut (between the 2 metal poles) everything was simple. After that, I got a haircut, checked out some houses, grew a goatee, and bought some new sneakers. It seemed a little cheesy at first, but if you enjoy Playstation Home, you’ll enjoy this part of the game. After I passed my first challenge of six races I won $50,000, and went to the Audi dealer. It’s cooler than you think. You can sit in the car roll down the windows, etc. etc, just like you were buying a real car. You can customize the color, pay extra for nicer rims, etc. While I was in there, there were other online players buying cars, and the whole experience felt like I really bought an Audi. The car dealer really resembled a car dealership to a tee. And of course, true to it’s name you can test drive any car before you buy it, even if you don’t have any money, just like in real life. LOL

Just Plain Fun! By W. R. Stockstill Jr. First off, I don’t care what game, Madden or Call of Duty or whatever, they all have problems when they first come out. Server issues and exploits are common with ALL new games. The developers of Madden even said in a podcast that given the choice between spending tons of time on a game and getting it pretty much totally right vs releasing it with full support after to fix it, they chose the latter. Besides, some issues, like exploits and server issues can’t be foreseen until the product is released with many more playing then could be discovered in a beta anyway. Those that clamor for the old days of “perfect” games at release also forget that they are thinking of games not played online or were played online by a relative few and were much less complex to encode then today’s games. So don’t let the problems you are reading about here scare you off, Atari is addressing them and has already released updates and more are on the way. What is cool that in every house you own there is a TV you can check the News on and see where the status of bug fixes are at. Right now due to exploits and issues, the Club aspect of the game is turned off and its a good idea to back up your game saves to a couple of inexpensive flash drives as they are having problems with corrupt game saves (Gran Turismo 5 had both the same problems (cheating in GT Academy and corrupt saves over 4mb) just to show that these issues are not unique to this game).
